HDPE Air Blown Fiber Straight Gas Block End Stop Reduction Microduct Connector

The connectors and end caps for microducts provide a quick, easy and secure connection or water sealing of microducts. The connectors are tested for best functionality in combination with air blown fibers, nano cables and micro cables.

The product comes in four different versions:

• Straight Connectors are used to join sections of microducts.
• Reduction Connectors are used to join microducts of different dimensions
• End Stops are used to block open duct ends and prevent water and dirt from entering the microduct
• Gas- and water seal connectors that blocks any gas or water flow inside the microducts

Gas block connector  

• Provides a watertight and gastight seal
• The internal seal can be open to blow cable through and closed after installation to provide a complete seal
• Tube to tube connection
• Caters for various cable diameters

Performance:
1.  Blowing Pressure:  Between temperatures of -10ºC and +60ºC, all connectors size can be used for blowing operations at pressures up to 16bar.
2.  Burst Pressure:     > 26bar
3.  Gas Tightness:     Leakage at 16 bar gas pressure: 1ml/minute approx
                                 Leakage at 0.7bar gas pressure: 0.1ml/minute approx
4. Water ingress:     The connectors shall seal against a 6m head of water.
